Every Place
Has a Purpose
The retreat moves through some of the most iconic creative spaces in the Catskill region — each one chosen intentionally.
Your Home for the Retreat
Retreat participants in the full package have access to private rooms — single or couple — with a shared kitchen and living space. Everything is within easy reach of the main venue, so you can focus entirely on the music.
Waking up steps from the mountains, your fellow artists, and the day's creative work is a different experience from commuting. Many participants say the residential experience is what transforms the retreat into something life-changing.
Catered to Every Need
All meals are included in the full package — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the celebratory after-party dinner following the grand final show at the Orpheum. Catering accommodates all dietary needs so you never have to think about anything but the music.
A Day at Woodstock Records
One full day of the retreat is dedicated to recording at Woodstock Records — the legendary studio in Woodstock, NY that has hosted some of the most iconic recordings in American music history. You'll track vocals and instruments with professional engineers and leave with real recorded music you made at the retreat.
The Orpheum Theater
The retreat culminates in a grand final show at the Orpheum Film and Performing Arts Center in Tannersville, NY — a real stage, a real audience, and professionally filmed. This is where everything you've worked toward comes together in one night of music.
The Orpheum has been a cultural anchor of the Catskills for decades and hosts some of the region's most important live events, including the annual New York Blues Hall of Fame Award ceremonies.
Woodstock & The Catskills
The retreat takes you beyond the classroom — into the landscape itself. Singfest picnics at Twilight Park and Kaaterskill Falls, lunch in Woodstock village, and the natural beauty of the Catskill high peaks are woven into the retreat's rhythm.
The Catskill Mountains have inspired artists, writers, and musicians for two centuries. That tradition continues That tradition continues every year at The Music Oasis.
